Meet Your Hygienist

Nakissa Farmand's interest in dental hygiene commenced at an early age. Thus, her career in the dental world began in 2003 as a dental assistant, doing chair side assisting as well as reception in a dental office. As her passion grew in the oral health field, Nakissa returned to school to study Dental Hygiene. She graduated from La Cité Collegiale in 2008 as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). She has subsequently worked alongside wonderful dental professionals for many years and has kept up with her continuing education courses. She is now an Independent Dental Hygienist (IDH) and the owner of, "Radiant Smiles Mobile Dental Hygiene" in the city of Ottawa. Her mission at work is to ensure quality treatment to clients as well as a comfortable experience each time. Nakissa is a proud member of The College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) and The Canadian Dental Hygienist Association (CDHA). She is also fluent in three languages, French, English and Farsi. Outside of work, Nakissa loves spending every moment with her toddler son. She's also very fond of music and traveling.
